Climate of Oakland and How it Compares

Oakland has a moderate climate that is Mediterranean like most of California. Summers had been mild in the 60s in the past but more recently temperatures have climbed to the 70s and 80s. Winter used to be cool in just the 50s but this season also has intensified the same as summer with temperatures dropping to around 0 at night. Though there has been influxes in the temperature the averages still seem to remain the same as they have been in the past for the city of Oakland. Interestingly enough, in Oakland the humidity is always relatively high while the precipitation is low with most of it occurring between October and January

During winter Oakland receives a lot of rain and the rains are not constant but more on and off. It can be said that whatever is happening in San Francisco, Oakland is getting he milder version of it or none of its effects at all.
