Jornal # 2

There is some sort of bird chirping in the distance repetitively as the sun has already set over the houses, leaving only an orange glow in the pale blue sky where it once was. Two houses down I saw a blue jay hopping about in what looked like a London Plane tree. Seeing as it is later there seemed to be less to observe moving about. From the sound of the jingling I guessed that one of my neighbor’s Chihuahuas was moving to the front of the yard and I was right it was the white one. One the other side of my house the neighbor’s black cat was patrolling it’s yard.

Today there is really nothing much to see. It could be noted that the neighbors have been watering there lawn now for at least 30 minutes with their sprinkler system. I feel that it’s kind of a waste.

Suddenly the silence was broken when I saw a my neighbor’s other cat materialize in his vegetable patch and coming for him were the same neighbor’s 3 dogs. I like to think that every time I see this happen they’re just playing really rough with each other but I don’t know. It looked like the puppy grabbed him and he whined and then he took off to hop the fence with the alpha male just nearly latching onto his tail as he made his getaway. Really the cat didn’t look too pleased but who knows.
